Born and raised in the Nation's Capital, Tom Sear makes his living as a professional pianist in Ottawa, ON.  He began his musical training at the age of six and has spent his life since then working at refining his musical abilities.  He recently graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Masters degree in piano performance.  He specializes in classical repertoire with a focus on romantic and Russian music.  On the side, Tom also enjoys playing the blues, and experimenting with modern electronic compositions.  Currently Tom is working as a private piano teacher, and an accompanist for students at the University of Ottawa.  He is also accompanist for the Musica Viva Singers, the Senior Choir at St. Thomas the Apostle, and the Cross Town Youth Chorus.
